JUST IN: Iranian Hackers Leak Images of Donald Trump With Jeffery Epstein and Some minors in Retaliation for U.S.-Israel Strike That Killed Iran Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei
Digital Coup Attempt’: Iran Retaliates for Strike on Supreme Leader with Explicit AI Deepfakes of Trump
WASHINGTON, D.C. – In a dramatic escalation of the ongoing crisis in the Middle East, the United States is battling a two-front war after Iranian state-sponsored hackers released a barrage of explicit, AI-generated images depicting former President Donald Trump with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and underage minors.
The cyberattack, described by the White House as a “desperate and malicious act of disinformation,” comes less than 48 hours after a joint U.S.-Israeli airstrike near Tehran killed Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Intelligence officials have confirmed that a group known as “Cyber Dawn,” which has direct ties to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), successfully breached the servers of a minor political action committee to disseminate the fabricated media.
The Attack
Beginning in the early hours of Saturday morning, social media platform X (formerly Twitter) was flooded with highly realistic images purporting to show the 45th President in compromising and illegal scenarios with Epstein, who died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
While forensic analysis conducted by the Cyberspace Solarium Commission confirms the images are “sophisticated deepfakes” utilizing artificial intelligence to map Trump’s likeness onto existing bodies, the speed and volume of the leak overwhelmed platform moderators. By midday Sunday, the hashtag #TrumpEpsteinFiles was trending globally, despite fact-checkers flagging the content as manipulated.
“They aren’t trying to convince people these are real; they are trying to create chaos, to muddy the waters,” said FBI Director Christopher Wray in a press conference. “This is a retaliation for the military action against the Supreme Leader. They know they cannot match us on the battlefield, so they are trying to tear apart our society from the inside.”
Political Firestorm
The attack has thrust the already volatile election cycle into deeper uncertainty. The Trump campaign issued a furious statement denouncing the leak as “election interference on a global scale” and a “digital coup attempt” orchestrated by America’s enemies.
“These terrorists failed to kill President Trump once, and now they are trying to kill his reputation with lies made by a machine,” the statement read, referencing the 2020 assassination attempt on Trump. “The American people are too smart to fall for this, but Big Tech needs to explain why they let our enemies spread propaganda.”
