15 Minutes Ago: Kensington Palace confirms the rumor about Kate Middleton’s health condition

One more day, Kate Middleton has once again become one of the main figures of the day. All this comes after Kensington Palace confirmed some breaking news about the current health status of the Princess of Wales.

It was in February 2024 when all alarms went off around the Royal Family following an unexpected statement issued by Buckingham Palace. In it, it was reported that Charles III had been diagnosed with cancer, which is why his institutional activity was going to be reduced.

This announcement came just a few days after it was confirmed that Kate Middleton had to undergo “scheduled abdominal surgery.” However, it was not until March 2024 when, after weeks of speculation, the Princess of Wales admitted through an emotional statement that she also had cancer.

During the following months, the future queen consort stepped away from public life to focus on her treatment, choosing a more family-oriented life away from the spotlight. This decision, as expected, had a great impact throughout the United Kingdom and concern for her kept increasing.

However, in January 2025 it was confirmed that Kate Middleton’s illness was in remission thanks to the treatment she received. For this reason, little by little, she has been resuming her institutional responsibilities.

In this context, Prince William has spoken openly about the difficulties his family is facing today. He has done so by referring to the diagnoses of his father and his wife.

Prince William, heir to Kensington Palace, speaks candidly about Kate Middleton’s health status
With an unusual sincerity, the heir to the British throne has shared with the rest of the world how hard it has been for him to live through this experience firsthand. These statements appear in a preview of the Apple TV travel series, The Reluctant Traveler, with Eugene Levy.

In the episode titled Living the Royal Life in the UK, Prince William reflects on how cancer has changed his family. In fact, he doesn’t hide how difficult it has been to live with Kate Middleton’s illness over the past few months.

We’ve been very lucky; we hadn’t had many illnesses in the family for a long time. My grandparents lived into their nineties,” the future British king pointed out, recalling Philip of Edinburgh and Elizabeth II.

Meanwhile, the Prince of Wales did not want to miss the opportunity to state that “life tests us.” However, he believes that “being able to overcome it is what defines us.”

These are words William spoke while remembering with some sadness “the most difficult year” of his life, between 2023 and 2024, when Kate Middleton was diagnosed with cancer.

“You might think it won’t happen to us, we’ll be fine, because I think we have a positive attitude and you have to be. But when it happens to you, it takes you to some pretty unpleasant situations,” he added.
