Prince William, Kate set boundaries with King Charles amid abdication plans

Prince William and Kate Middleton have set boundaries with King Charles as they inform him of their approach with Royal life once becoming the King and Queen of England.

According to a Royal expert, the Prince and Princess of Wales have told the monarch that they will continue to balance royal duties with family life.

Speaking with Hello! Magazine, royal biographer Robert Jobson said, “William and Catherine have made it clear to the King that they are committed to balancing royal duties with family life and it will be the same this year.”

This comes after royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams revealed that the palace has been careful not to burden the Princess of Wales with royal engagements as she is still taking it slow after cancer recovery.

He told GB News, “If you look at Kensington Palace and the way they handled this, they’ve been very careful,”

“There have been meetings we know she’s participated in, but they’ve been very very careful firstly not to give to much notice of this, and secondly not to commit themselves to anything,” Fitzwilliams added.

He continued: “Success in chemotherapy and beating cancer is one thing; pulling back completely and being able to tour as she would normally is completely different.

“It has always been emphasized by William and her that there was a long way to go. Things are being taken step by step. I’m sure she will see more of her, but there have been no dates or indications given, so I do think we have to be careful.”
