Just in the recent bill passed by trump all American men between the ages of 18 to 25 will be automatically enrolled into the military
Recently, there has been news about a new bill signed by Donald Trump concerning military service in the United States. Many people believe that this law means all American men between the ages of 18 and 25 will be forced to join the military. However, this is not completely true.
The new law only introduces automatic registration for the military draft. This means that young men within this age range will be automatically registered in the Selective Service system by the government. In the past, individuals had to register by themselves when they turned 18. Now, the process will be done for them.
It is important to understand that registration is not the same as being enlisted in the military. The United States does not currently have an active draft. This means no one is being forced to serve in the military at this time. The last time a draft was used in the U.S. was many years ago, during the Vietnam War.
The purpose of this new policy is mainly to make the system more efficient and ensure that all eligible individuals are recorded in case the country ever needs to activate a draft in the future. However, such a decision would require approval from the government and would likely only happen during a national emergency or major war.
In conclusion, while the new law may sound alarming, it does not mean that young men are being forced into military service. It is simply a change in how the registration process is handled, making it automatic instead of manual.
